HOW ARE YOU FEELING TODAY?
Dr. Nelson creates a warm and safe environment for you to make changes that you’d like to make in your life. She utilizes the psychodynamic approach. This approach is based on the belief that your childhood experiences affect your adult life and may keep you stuck in patterns that no longer work for you. Dr. Nelson integrates this approach with Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) which is based on the idea that the way we feel and behave is influenced by our perception and interpretation of events.
SOME SESSIONS WILL BE EASIER THAN OTHERS, BUT WITH EACH SESSION COMES MORE PROGRESS
